In the summer of 2016, the National Accident Prevention Committee and Hungarian Public Road Administration Nonprofit Ltd. launched a campaign to draw the driver’s attention to the importance of providing emergency corridors. On the highway M1 – west-bound, direction Vienna – , banners remind everyone: give way to the help!
Trucks and freight vehicles are particularly criticized for being the major cause of accidents. For this reason, as a pilot-project based on our own initiation and in collaboration with the National Accident Prevention Committee, BI-KA Logistics decided to place the aforementioned banners on two of our own vehicles, and launch a new campaign to call more drivers’ attention on the importance of this message. We are committed in the contribution of creating a much safer traffic culture.
Today the owner of our company, Anita Bíró Dr. Karmazinné, Gabriella Szécsi the Managing Director, and Attila Katkics, the Head of the Business Development Department met Mr. Csaba Kiss Police Chief Counsellor, Head of Unit Police and General Secretary of National Accident Prevention Committee to launch the campaign officially with a symbolic handshake.
